This week, one of my students was accepted into the Cambridge School of Architecture in the U.K. How did I get her in? To differentiate one person from another is the key. I use personal branding to highlight her unique gifts and insights. She’s a brilliant artist and academic student, but she didn’t know how to interview or sell herself. I introduced her to Neri Oxman’s work, as my student needs to be a step ahead of other candidates and think of the future of architecture, the unique new building materials the world will require and other innovative ideas. Congratulations to my sweet student. I’m so proud of you!
